So the 2010 Barking Premier League kicks off tonight with the Jewels the premier team to be rested, luckily in house team The Crown Arms also have a free week in these very strange fixtures Ian Cambell has thrown together, so both teams having another Piss up, sorry friendly.
So onto Week one of the Premier and here we have both the new teams in the Premier playing each other, The Joker Daggers, already tipped by most to finish bottom of the league against the Dagenham Working Mens Club Carlings, Daggers with inform players Dagenham Dave and Jamie Joyes will have to be at the top of thier games when they come up up against the Richard Moore, Ian Huckstepp and Justin Young of the Carlings, i'm going here for a Carling victory.

The next game to look at is Zeds who have Mark Neylon making his debut tonight against the Outcasts, Outcasts were a steady team last season and managed a few shock results against the top teams, Zeds will be on their dreaded home table and with first week nerves i can see this being closer than most would predict, Zeds should just win it though.

The match of the week though has to be Sharks v Eagles, both made a lot of changes over the new year and up until a few hours before this match the Sharks seem to still be making changes kicking Tony Arnold Snr our just a few hours before the match gets underway, can anyone honestly predict how the Eagles are going to do? who's going to turn? Who's going to be bothered on the night? If there hearts are in it they'll be a hard team to beat. I'm sure Sharks Captain Micky Fernandez will have his boys up and ready for this battle. So not knowing really who's in what team here i'm going just, just for a Sharks victory.

Rob Hill wins The Barking Masters |

 Rob Hill pictured left became the first player to win the Barking Masters by beating Youssef Gormati 6-0 in the final, the event which was run by turtle promotions included players such as Darren Collison, Terry Elliott, Joe Flaherty, Steve Sanders, Jimmy Carney and Barkings No.1 Andy Holland.
Rob Hills path to the final was by beating Terry Elliott and Joe Flaherty, Youssef got to the final by beating both Darren Collison and Jimmy Carney 6-0.
The games on the day which attracted over 50 spectators went like:-
